Venson Automotive Solutions has been awarded supplier status on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework.

Following a successful tender process, it has won a place on the RM6268 Vehicle Lease, Fleet Management and Salary Sacrifice Car Schemes framework.

As of May 2023, central government and the wider public sector can now lease medium and heavy commercial vehicles from the fleet provider.

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion.

Simon Staton, client management director for Venson, said: “We are delighted to have reached a new agreement to be listed on the CCS framework.

“During the tender process we drew upon our skills, experience, expertise and the on-going partnerships we already have in the public sector.

“Our appreciation of how vital it is for all fleet operators to keep costs down while optimising service levels, enables us to support our customers in providing their services to the public as efficiently and effectively as possible.”

The CCS is an executive agency of the cabinet office, supporting the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.
