Seat is the latest VW Group manufacturer to publish the number of vehicles affected by the VW emissions scandal.

The Spanish manufacturer has confirmed that around 700,000 cars are fitted with ‘defeat devices’, which allows cars to detect when they are being emissions tested and temporarily cut their NOx emissions.

Seat also confirmed that VW Group is currently developing a self-service process which owners and drivers of VW Group vehicles can identify if their vehicle is effected by the defeat devices.
