Smart has revealed the latest updates to its range, including a new Brabus sport model priced from £13,810.

The city-car maker’s model line up now consists of the entry-level passion, followed by prime, prime sport and Brabus sport at the top of the range.

Entry-level fortwo coupes now come with a fabric-covered roof and the forfour ‘night sky prime’ and ‘prime sport’ models benefit from an electric fabric opening roof.

The cheapest Smart ‘Passion’ models still come equipped with a Smart audio system, automatic climate control, a three-spoke multi-function leather steering wheel and silver 15-inch eight-spoke alloy wheels.

Further up the range; ‘Prime’ models offer heated front seats, leather upholstery, dashboard instruments with clock and rev counter, sunglasses holders,  and 15-inch five-spoke alloys painted black. 'Prime sport' benfits from a perforated leather sports steering wheel (with shift paddles), sports suspension, a chrome exhaust finisher and black 16-inch eight-spoke alloy wheels.

The Brabus sport line is only available only on models with the higher powered 90bhp engine. It includes matt grey 17-inch alloy wheels, a front splitter and rear apron in black, Brabus stitching and logo on hand brake lever and gear shift, a Brabus sports steering wheel and brushed stainless steel sports pedals.

All models can be ordered with the Premium equipment package for an extra £845. For that you get a height-adjustable driver’s seat and steering wheel, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, rear parking sensors and the Smart Media System with Mirror Link.

Prime models and above can also have the Premium Plus package for £1,345 which adds ambient lighting, LED head and tail lights, front fog lamps with cornering function and rear view camera.

Forfour models can now also be specified with a no-cost option ‘cadmium red’ metallic radiator grille. Customers can also choose from black, white, silver, grey, or yellow for no extra cost.
