The seven-seater Seat Tarraco, which sits above Arona and Ateca, is available now priced from £28,320.

There are four trims to choose from: SE, SE Technology, Xcellence and Xcellence Lux.

The engine line up includes 1.5-litre TSI and 2.0-litre TSI petrol units with 150PS and 190PS respectively. There are also two 2.0-litre diesel versions, with 150PS and 190PS.

The 150PS TDI is the most efficient, with CO2 emissions of 129g/km and average fuel consumption of 47.9mpg.

All-wheel-drive and a DSG transmission is available with the 2.0-litre engines.

The 190PS TDI, with 4Drive and DSG emits 147g/km of CO2. Emissions figures for the 2.0-litre petrol are the highest, at 166g/km and the 1.5 TSI emits 152g/km.

Metallic paint, Full Link, DAB, 17-inch Alloy wheels, alarm and three zone climate control are part of the standard specification across all trim levels.

SE Technology, priced from £29,330, adds sat-nav, dark tinted windows and 18-inch Alloy wheels.

The Xcellence trim (from £30,410) adds wireless phone charger, adaptive cruise control, rear view camera, electric tailgate, 19-inch alloy wheels and alcantara upholstery.

At the top of the range, the £32,135 Xcellence Lux adds top view camera, 20-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery and a winter pack.
