Seat has expanded the Tarraco line-up with two sporty new trim levels – FR and FR Sport.

Prices start at £31,680 for the FR, which gains a body kit, larger alloy wheels and sports seats. The FR Sport costs from £33,430.

The new models are available to order now with a 1.5-litre or 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine or a 2.0-litre TDI diesel.

The Tarraco FR comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, the more aggressive FR body styling kit – featuring the dynamic twin exhaust, unique rear spoiler, front and rear sports bumper, as well as black mouldings, wing mirrors and roof rails.

The FR Sport has 20-inch alloy wheels and black leather sports seats inside. It also features rear and top-view cameras and heated front and rear seats.

Both models receive Seat’s self-parking Park Assist system, which adds front parking sensors.

All this equipment comes on top of the standard specification, which includes automatic full LED headlamps, Digital Cockpit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a USB socket in all three rows of seats.

The Tarraco is available with front- or all-wheel-drive and manual or automatic transmissions, depending on engine variant.

It comes with seven seats and up to 1,775-litres of storage with the second and third row seats folded flat.
