Hyundai i20: prices, specifications and CO2 emissions

Hyundai has announced the pricing and specification of the all new i20, which comes exclusively with a mild-hybrid petrol engine.

The new model introduces Hyundai’s latest design language and features a lower, wider body and sportier styling.

Across the range, there is only one powertrain offered. It’s a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol with a 48v mild-hybrid system. Developing 100PS, the new engine emits from 115g/km and can be paired with a six-speed automated manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Prices start at £18,595 (on-the-road) for the SE Connect trim, which comes with an eight-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, rear parking sensors and camera.

It also gets the Hyundai SmartSense safety package, which includes lane keep assist, forward collision alert and a speed limit warning.

The i20 Premium is available from £20,795 and adds a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen, LED headlights, power folding door mirrors, privacy glass and climate control. It also features heated front seats, heated steering wheel and Hyundai’s Bluelink telematics system.

A range-topping Ultimate trim (£22,095) sees the inclusion of keyless entry, blind-spot monitoring and a new Bose audio system.

The enhanced specification across the new i20 range has ensured an increase in residual value of 4.6 percentage points over the previous model, giving it one of the highest future values in the B- segment after three years and 30,000 miles.

The i20 N and N Line will join the range in 2021.

All New i20 models come with Hyundai’s five-year unlimited mileage warranty, Roadside Assistance package, five-year Annual Health Check, and 12-year Anti Corrosion Warranty.
