MG has added a new Extended Range variant to the MG 4, which can cover 323 miles between charges.

The latest addition to the MG 4 line-up joins the existing Standard Range, Long Range and X Power variants.

Enabling the longer range is a new 77kWh battery - the largest fitted to an electric MG.

It takes 6.2 hours to charge, using a home wallbox (10%-100%) and can achieve a 10% - 80% charge in as little as 39 minutes at a rapid charger.

The MG 4 Extended Range is equipped with a 245PS motor, giving a 0-62mph acceleration time of 6.1 seconds.

Available in the range-topping Trophy trim level, the MG 4 Extended range comes equipped with a 360-degree camera system, heated front seats and steering wheel, sat-nav and a wireless phone charging pad.

The MG 4 Extended Range is priced from £36,495 and is available to order now.

MG has made huge strides in the fleet sector, particularly since the launch of the MG4 fully-electric hatchback which was named EV Breakthrough of the Year at this year’s Fleet News Awards.

In June, the brand announced the launch of a fleet charter to give corporate customers a guaranteed level of service as it looks to continue its growth in the fleet market.
