RIF Logistics has announced a new partnership Access Group to “facilitate rapid growth”.

RIF currently operates from a single-site warehouse in Dunstable but plans to increase it’s number of locations. It felt new software was needed to facilitate the growth.

The team selected Access Group’s Access Delta WMS as a scalable solution to grow in line with the company, with the solution fully-functional just seven weeks after the initial order.

Dominic Bacon (pictured) managing director of RIF Logistics said: “For any business to grow, they need the right systems and the right partners. It was clear from the initial discussions that Access Delta WMS is the best system for the 3PL sector.

“We also need to accommodate market changes. There’s a definite change to e-commerce fulfilment and we need to be certain that we have the software in place to facilitate this transition and allow us to achieve a larger market share.

“The functionality and experience that Access Delta WMS has makes the team the ideal service provider as we expand our business.”

Access Delta WMS is designed to improve the capacity and accuracy of warehouse operations.

For Zaeem Batavia, warehouse management system (WMS) specialist at Access Group, the requirements of RIF Logistics reflect the wider industry:

“The challenge for anyone in the logistics sector at the moment is to balance the streamlining of warehousing, production, planning and finances, whilst also achieving growth,” said Batavia.

“This is a particularly tricky task for 3PLs as the sector is highly competitive.

“As software authors with 25 years’ experience, we use proven technology to push growth for logistics firms.

"Working alongside RIF Logistics on its journey to drive new levels of efficiency is the perfect example of this.

"From order to implementation, we had the team up and running in just seven weeks, allowing RIF Logistics to quickly start passing on the benefits of the new system to its customers.”
