Mediafleet will re-brand Wessex Water’s entire fleet of 750 light commercial vehicles.

The fleet livery and branding specialist was recommended to Martin Crocker, Wessex Water’s head of fleet, and won the business following a competitive pricing exercise.

Wessex Water serves 2.8 million customers across the south west of England including Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, most of Wiltshire and parts of Gloucestershire and Hampshire.

The rebrand is initially being introduced on 350 new vans as they join the Wessex Water fleet as part of a major replacement programme.

The vehicles will be partially wrapped and feature cut graphics and Chapter 8 high visibility safety markings.

Working with Wessex Water’s fleet and brand teams, Mediafleet adapted seven core livery designs highlighting different aspects of the regional water and sewerage business’s work covering more than 50 different artwork specifications to take account of the range of vehicles - car-derived vans to panel vans, pick-ups and tippers sourced from seven different manufacturers.

Crocker said: “The vehicles are mobile billboards delivering multiple messages about Wessex Water and the services offered. We are delighted with the end result.”

Barnaby Smith, managing director, Mediafleet, added: “The Wessex Water rebrand is one of the most significant contracts that Mediafleet has won in the last 12 months in terms of its size and complexity.

“Companies are becoming very brand centric and Mediafleet has the creative skillsets to provide a design to installation service and project manage the entire rebrand.”
