City Auction Group Rockingham has welcomed David Macklin as operations manager, as he leaves his former PSA role as asset recovery and disposals controller.

Macklin (pictured) brings 10 years’ experience to the role, and will develop a management tier to enhance the current operations and administration teams.

He will also introduce new vendors and help deliver higher volumes for the Group’s Rockingham auction events.

Macklin said: “With a host of new contracts recently won and several in the pipeline, I am looking forward to helping the business develop and grow over the coming months.”

City Auction Group’s managing director Michael Tomalin said: “David brings a wealth of experience in remarketing and refurbishment and has the right management and sales experience to help us increase our share of the market.

“He will be responsible for enhancing our customer service and ensuring that we continue to meet and surpass the expectations of our new and existing customers.”
