Autoglass has announced the promotion of Jo Fryer, formerly head of leadership partnering, to people director.

Fryer (pictured) will also have overall responsibility for driving employee engagement and delivering an integrated people strategy.

She joined the company over a decade ago, and was serving as head of leadership partnering and became a trusted partner to the executive team.

“For our people, I hope to continue the work that ensures Autoglass remains a place where everyone enjoys coming to work,” said Fryer.

“Our success is built on our people and, with ambitious growth plans, everything I do will be focused on building a positive and supportive working environment where every employee understands what our long-term vision is and is empowered to contribute to that journey and our growth.”

Before joining, Fryer spent more than 20 years working in the HR function at RSA.

Autoglass’ managing director Taxiarchis Konstantopoulos said: “Jo is a charismatic and resilient leader who will be an invaluable member of our executive team.

“During her 11 years of service, Jo has demonstrated that she has the skills and acumen needed to grow the business through engaged teams and high-performing people.

"We want to make Autoglass the best place our people have ever worked, and with Jo’s insight and drive, this is a very achievable target.”
