Autoglass has been appointed as the preferred supplier for glass repairs and replacements to Hertz UK.

The partnership will position Autoglass as the first point of call for all vehicle glass repair and replacement services to the entire Hertz UK fleet.

It was confirmed as the preferred supplier following a competitive tender process, during which it impressed with a commitment to significantly reduce vehicle downtime and the provision of a one-stop-shop solution for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This model allows Autoglass to perform ADAS recalibration at a designated Hertz location or one of the 70 centres operated by Autoglass around the UK.

In addition to the reduction in vehicle downtime, the decision made by Hertz to select Autoglass was linked to several other components in the tender response, including access to the business support team who centrally manage the day-to-day requirements, providing greater consistency, appointment tracking and improved communication.
