Lisa McGowan has been appointed to the position of customer services director at LeasePlan UK.

She previously worked as commercial excellence director at LeasePlan UK, a position she held for two and a half years.

In this role, she created the commercial excellence function and managed its specialist teams, which cover areas such as commercial vehicles, mobility services and employee rewards.

In her new role, McGowan will play a key part in strengthening and developing LeasePlan’s customer services operations team, which stands at the centre of the customer experience.

The appointment forms part of LeasePlan’s wider strategy to enhance its customer value proposition, as it continues to invest significantly in its services to provide a more flexible and convenient driver experience to its clients at a competitive price.

McGowan said: “I am delighted to be moving into such an exciting role at LeasePlan UK, whose strong values, innovative culture and customer-focused approach put it at the leading edge of the automotive industry’s transformation towards a cleaner, more sustainable future.

“I look forward to taking on this new challenge, and contributing my knowledge and experience to build its reputation as one of the world’s leading car-as-a-service companies.”

Alfonso Martinez, managing director of LeasePlan UK, said: “On behalf of everyone at LeasePlan, we’d like to welcome Lisa into her new role and thank her for her continued hard work and dedication to the company.

“Lisa has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and commitment to the growth of the company over the past seven years.

“Her wide-ranging commercial experience will be instrumental in ensuring the continued development of our customer services operations team, as we look to leverage our own talent to strengthen and expand upon our customer value proposition in 2020 and beyond.”
