Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will supply six new converted Volkswagen Crafters to ATS Euromaster ahead of a complete overhaul of its 200-strong fleet.

The first vehicles will be a mix of front-wheel and rear-wheel drive and kitted out with a mobile servicing conversion, including air compressors, tyre-fitting machinery and a full racking solution for all necessary tools and equipment.

Based in Aston, Birmingham, ATS Euromaster was established in 1965 and now has a network of over 270 service centres across the UK offering tyre-fitting, MOTs and servicing – both on-site and using its mobile units.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles products were chosen as a new fleet partner by the servicing firm, because of on-the-road reliability and the flexibility of the brand’s van centre network.

Following the trial period with six vans, ATS Euromaster expects to overhaul the entirety of its 250-strong nationwide fleet with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles models by early 2020.

Mark Lynch, from ATS Euromaster, said: “The purpose of our mobile fleet is to keep other UK fleets on the move, so it’s vital that our own fleet is kept running all day, every day.

“Our values of customer first approach, expertise, and honesty aligns perfectly with the product and aftersales offering from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. We’re excited to see how the Crafter performs as we prepare for a full fleet overhaul soon.”
