Vauxhall has revealed the updated Combo Life and Vivaro Life electric MPVs, which are due to go on sale in early 2024.

In line with updates applies to the Stellantis commercial vehicle line-up, Vauxhall's new people carriers benefit from fresh front end styling, new interiors and updated technology.

The electric range of both the Combo Life and Vivaro Life has also been improved.

Thanks to a new electric motor and the fitment of a heat pump, the Combo Life Electric can now travel up to 205 miles between charges. It features a 50kWh battery, has a power output of 136PS and supports charging at 11kW (AC) and 100kW (DC).

Vauxhall Vivaro Life Electric

The Vivaro Life Electric is now equipped with a 75kWh battery, enabling a range of 217 miles. It uses the same 136PS motor as the Combo Life. The 50kWh battery can also be specified on the Vivaro Life Electric.

Depending on the variant, the Combo Life offers space for up to seven people, while the Vivaro Life accommodates up to nine occupants. 

The Vauxhall Combo Life is available in two vehicle lengths: The 4.41-metre version (L1) offers space for up to five people, while the 4.76-metre version (L2) can optionally accommodate up to seven passengers in three rows. If desired, the Combo Life Electric offers additional flexibility with three individual seats in the second row.

Depending on the seating configuration, the new Combo Life offers between 775 (L1) and 4,000 litres (L2; up to the roof) of load volume.

The Vivaro Life Electric is also available in two lengths (4.98 metres and 5.33 metres) and offers space for up to nine people. If desired, it can be configured with four independent seats. Sensor-controlled, electric sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle make it easier to get in and out of rows two and three.

Load volume measures up to 1,500 litres in the configuration with nine seats. With five seats, up to 3,000 litres can be transported and 4,900 litres with two or three people on board.

Vauxhall Vivaro Life Electric interior

The new editions of the two models each have up to 18 driver assistance systems, including equipment such as 180-degree rear-view camera and new features such as full LED headlights and IntelliLux LED Matrix Light with the Combo Life.

For the first time, both vehicles wear the Vauxhall Vizor, the brand’s characteristic facia. With the Vauxhall Griffin logo in the centre, the Vizor extends seamlessly into the LED headlights. The cockpit is fully digital and includes a 10-inch central touchscreen.
