Fleet Assist has won an extension to its contract with SGFleet, which is an expansion of the arrangement previously enjoyed by the company’s long-time customer Fleet Hire.

The contract extension until 2021 covers cars and vans supplied to a wide range of UK customers.

Following the recent integration of Fleet Hire and Motiva, SGFleet now operates 13,000 vehicles in the UK.

It provides a comprehensive range of vehicle leasing, short-term rental, fleet management and salary packaging solutions.

Supply chain management specialist Fleet Assist manages a network of more than 5,000 franchise, independent and specialist garages undertaking service, maintenance and repair (SMR) on cars and light commercial vehicles on the books of more than 75 contract hire, leasing and daily rental company customers.

SGFleet will use the Fleet Assist network and vehicle service booking facility to direct its customers’ vehicles to the garage network.
