If you are looking for a challenge where you will have the autonomy to drive change, you have the vision to create a ‘best-in-class’ Logistics function – then this has the potential to support your development and personal aspirations.

What will you be doing?

You’ll enjoy getting into the detail and have the ability to distil complex information into easy to understand, top level, dashboard type reporting; because you get to know your team well, you know where their individual strengths lie and you’ll be able to delegate clear actions and timelines to them – which, of course, motivates them as they are able to utilise their skills. But you know all of this because you’re Leadership style is dynamic.

You’ll develop methodology for tracking key KPI’s for inventory analysis; then be able to track the data and see patterns which will shape how you enhance your systems and processes for maximum efficiencies.

Onto the Warehouse; you’ll need to zoom out, see a birds eye view then quickly drop back in to get to grips with some of the basic elements around location and visual management, stock reorganisation, training and development of the whole team and finally, ensure adherence through robust standard operations and auditing.

What are you like?

You’re ambitious, bright, driven and resilient; these are some of your key character traits necessary to succeed in the role. The UK Supply Chain function is led by a visionary leader who wants to create a benchmark for the group – so you’re going to need to want to be part of a high tempo and agile team. It goes without saying that you will be an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain professional with excellent leadership skills necessary to work at a high level and at pace; familiarity of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will be important, as the demands and pressures are unique to the industry.

What are they like?

The organisation is a market leader in the design, development and manufacture of complex components – supplying a world leading customer base. Due to continued success on a global scale, gained through their innovative and technical capabilities, the business is experiencing an increase in market share and international growth.
