Logistics Manager

We are looking for a Logistic Manager to join our client who are a firmly established Mechanical, Electrical and Construction company based in Central London.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate the planning and implementation of all logistics activities on site. you’ll be instrumental in the smooth and safe running of a fast-paced site.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Develop and manage the construction logistics plan, including traffic management, delivery scheduling, and storage areas.
· Coordinate closely with site management, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
· Monitor site access and implement control systems for vehicle and personnel movement.
· Oversee waste management, hoarding, and material handling operations.
· Liaise with sub- contractors and site teams to forecast material and equipment requirements.
· Implement and improve logistics procedures and site operations.
· Manage site logistics personnel and subcontractors.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably on large-scale projects.
· Strong understanding of logistics planning, supply chain processes, and construction site operations.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to lead and manage teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
· Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· CSCS card (preferred) and knowledge of CDM regulations.
Desirable
· NEBOSH or other health and safety certifications.
· Experience working on data centres
