Logistics Manager

You've started the new year thinking you're ready to take on the next chapter your career. You're a Logistics Manager who has experience in managing a busy environment but have a natural ability to spin multiple plates at the same time. Our client, based in St Ives, are looking for a Logistics Manager to join the business. This role is not for the faint-hearted, but if you are ready for a challenge that is undoubtedly going to keep you on your toes, then this could be the role you are ready for.

It is essential that you are CILT qualified, with expert knowledge in OPEX management and ISO standards. You will need to have held, or are currently within a similar position, as you will be managing the Logistics Coordinators and Warehouse Operatives. Taking ownership of the cost centre budget management, alongside the provision and maintenance of all field services including PPE and test equipment, you will be accountable and be able to demonstrate cost effective delivery of materials.

You will also have responsibility for providing reports on MIC/logistics operational performance and process improvement and implementation. A large aspect of this role is to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders, so you will be liable to advise and support on any logistics related matters. It would also be advantageous that you use this opportunity to enhance your professional network to improve business delivery. An added advantage would also be if you have had experience within procurement, notably in pricing.

Salary is between £35-40,000pa depending on experience.
