Logistics Manager up to £60,000
Avolon are working with a client in Slough who are looking for a Logistics Manager. This company build & manage complex engineering jobs that change how people work and live in the built environment. They will deal with sectors such like Healthcare, Fire Protection and lots more.
Applicants must have:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Logistic Manager/Supervisor role.
* Relevant Qualifications such as CSCS/SMSTS/SSSTS/First Aid.
* Experience overseeing direct and subcontract labour, resources, and materials.
* a pro-active approach to Health & Safety, ensuring project follows company procedures and legal legislation.
* Maintain a professional standard to ensure smooth running of the project
* Manage aspects such as access, site labour levels in agreement with the contractor, material deliveries, site tidiness, Health and Safety awareness and compliance.
* Supervising the Logistics and general operatives.
* Exceptional organisation and time managements skills
