Senior Logistics Manager

Opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter with experience in logistics, procurement, operations and people management to join a leading US Renewable Energy investment and asset management firm.

The Senior Logistics Manager will head a newly formed logistics department, supporting a multitude of functions for the operations and on-site teams from procurement and construction through to operations and asset management related to utility-scale RE projects.

Responsibilities:

Head newly formed logistics department
Support functions fo the operations team
Maintain and optimise company document storage systems
Support conversion from current to new document management system
Managing and providing logistics for all company-wide procurement activities, with a particular focus on equipment purchase of solar panels and wind turbine orders for construction, along with inventory of spare parts on existing sites
Manage site-related utilities from procurement through operation
Lead office admin functions across multitude national offices
Lead the management and growth of the new logistics division Requirements:

Experience managing high-performing teams, whether large or smaller. Preference for experiencing growing team/division
Excellent time and workload management skills
Exceptional organisational management skills for both self and team under responsibility
Highly motivated self-starter with desire to join a small but growing team with significant ambition
Desire to utilise full and wide skill set and high levels of intellect on a daily basis
Advanced skills using various software systems related to logistics and document management
Prior experience in renewables industry preferred
Detail orientated, with desire to achieve precision and accuracy
