Interaction are seeking a Transport Manager to work for a client based in West Yorkshire.

The Role

Lead and manage the drivers and office staff at the depot including driver issues/ queries and any operational challenges
Report and manage incidents that involve vehicle safety
Conduct 1-1’s with the driving team
Collaborate with other depots to drive business efficiency and performance
Create and manage driver rotas, considering holidays and increase workload
Route planning, ensuring all routes are compliant with weight and height restrictions whilst ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness
Communicate with clients, resolving queries and providing ETA’s when required
KPI management – Monitoring daily KPI’s and ensuring the business is on track
Requirements

Transport Manager CPC with proof of a completed refresher in the last 5 years
Sound knowledge of licence regulations
Strong knowledge of compliance, fleet management and logistics operations
Excellent leadership skills
Ability to perform under pressure
