My client, a leading Logistics Company based in Thurrock is currently recruiting for a European Logistics Network Manager for a full time permanent role. The salary will be between £50,000 to £60,000 depending upon experience.
Your responsibilities will involve -
Looking after the operations for Road, Air and Sea teams
Delivering direction, leadership and development to the Ops Team
Ensure all business is conducted in accordance with company procedures
Review and improve current policies and procedures in line with business strategy
Provide updates and KPIs to the Regional Manager
Ensure effective communication at all times throughout the leadership team
Build and implement an effective employee engagement strategy in order to ensure the workforce are motivated and engaged
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the supply chain
Managing operational margins
Support Regional Manager as and when requested
Essential skills and experience -
Strong international Road, Air and Ocean background across key marketings within leading Freight Forwarder, Shipping Line or 3PL.
Qualifications in Freight Management/Logistics Supply Chain
Minimum of five years experience in a similar role
Customs knowledge
Previous team and people management experience
Basic knowledge of transport regulations such as CMR, IMO, IATA, ADR, IMDG
