My client are a very well established business who are long standing and well known. A logictics business within the waste indusrty.
Currently looking for a Transport Manager
Day to day responsibilities for fleet & drivers (approx. 54)
Liaising with Harefield Workshop to accommodate maintenance requirements
Ensuring drivers paperwork and tickets are completed correctly
Manage compliance, including drivers’ hours, tachographs and DVSA inspection schedule
Dealing with incidents, including accidents, complaints and driver behaviour
Maintain FORS accreditation
Arrange driver training including IVT (in vehicle training), Toolbox talks & CPC training
Monitor fuel consumption and driver performance
Hiring suitable drivers Examine fleet for unreported defects
This is a full time and permanent role
