WASTE MANAGEMENT KEY PLAYER REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL DEPOT / DISTRIBUTION / COURIER SERVICES / TRANSPORT MANAGER TO DRIVE FORWARD A PROGRESSIVE OPPORTUNITY
Role: Transport Manager – Waste Management and Recycling
Salary: £42,000 plus pension and benefits

Location: The position is based in the Slough / Maidenhead Area
Previous experience: Depot Manager, Transport Manager, Courier, Parcels, Multi Drop Collection and Operations Manager, Light Freight or Haulage or Distribution Manager, 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Operations Manager, Transport Supervisor, Transport Planner, Traffic Controller
ROLE / EXPERIENCE
You will deliver a motivated and engaged workforce and an effective service, managing all resources and staff at your disposal and working within the terms of the service levels agreed with the client.
Strong IT, communication, negotiation and presentation skills will be required.
A team player and open communicator. You will work closely with the Waste Management sales division
A transport CPC in Road Haulage / Transport is highly desirable
Waste management and recycling sector experience a plus but excellent man management skill and an understanding of multidrop (10-150 stops per route) the main criteria
Any COTC in waste management and recycling a plus
You MUST be committed to inspiring and enforcing a positive Health and Safety ethic within the team, ensuring the correct resources for a safe working environment are made available. IOSH & NEBOSH are desirable
