Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager with a strong understanding of Transport Operations ?

Our client, a well established SME and the largest manufacturer & distributor of product in the UK, is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse & Transport Manager, to oversee its internal logistic operations, spread across 3 shifts.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of identifying areas for improvement and delivering necessary change within an established working environment, ideally of creating and implementing SOP`s.
With direct responsibility for 8 x Warehouse Operatives and 1 x Stock Controller, managing performance, sickness, return to works, H & S etc, you will also manage the service levels of, and relationship with, the appointed, external transport service provider, ensuring the timely movement of over 50,000 pallets per year.
In return, my client offers an excellent remuneration package, including a strong salary, death in service life insurance and accident related loss of earnings cover, whilst also providing the opportunity for further growth of responsibility and role, in line with that of the business.
