IN the first 11 months of 1996 fleet diesel sales totalled 200,292 - 3.4% down on the same period last year when diesel fleet sales totalled 207,268 - to take a 21.95% market share. Last month fleet diesel sales totalled 16,291 - 1.9% down on November 1995 - to take a 23.2% market share.

Total UK new car diesel sales in the first 11 months of 1996 stand at 352,715, down 9.9% on the same period last year with the fleet industry's share of those sales up from 53% to 56.8%.
