NISSAN has announced price increases on its Almera three and five-door models, Primera, QX and 200SX ranges. Almera prices have increased by 1.7% across the range, although prices of the recently launched four-door model remain unchanged. At the same time alloy wheels become standard on SLX and SRi models.

Three-door prices are: 1.4 GX £10,995 (£10,715), 1.4 Si £10,995 (£10,715), 1.6 SRi £12,495 (£12,165); five-door 1.4 GX £11,495 (£11,215), 1.6 GX/2.0 diesel £12,125 (£11,765), 1.4 Si £11,495 (£11,215), 1/6 SRi £12,995 (£12,665), 1.6 SLX £12,995 (£12,665). Primera prices increase by an average 2.0% with the entry-level Precision 1.6 five-door now costing £11,708 (£11,455) and estate prices now starting at £14,275 (£13,845) for the 1.6 LX.

Other sample prices are: LX four/five door 1.6/2.0D £13,340 (£13,120), SRi 1.6 four/five door £13,790 (£13,495), SRi 2.0 four/five door £14,585 (£14,250), SLX 2.0 four/five door £15,340 (£14,995), SE 2.0 four/five door £17,340 (£16,995), GT 2.0 £17,340 (£16,995); Primera estate 2.0 16v LX £15,130 (£14,605), 2.0 SLX £16,270 (£15,745).

QX prices have increased by 1.5% on all but the entry-level S grade with SE prices now starting at £19,295 (£19,095) for the 2.0V6, £23,745 (£23,115) for the 3.0 V6 automatic and £27,145 (£26,415) for the 3.0 SEL automatic. The price of the 200 SX sports coupe increases by 1.5% to £19,650 (£19,495) for the standard model and £22,250 (£21,895) for the touring pack.
