PEUGEOT dealers have launched an initiative that will raise £45,000 a year for BEN - the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund. The dealers will donate 30 pence to the charity every time they sell a new Peugeot. For an average dealer selling 400 units a year it will cost just £10 a month.

BEN currently spends around £7 million a year to run its four homes and expanding welfare programmes. Car manufacturers have been donating 30 pence a car to BEN over the last four years and that has raised £650,000 a year.
