THAMES Valley Police is looking for a new fleet manager to replace retiring force transport officer Roger Dawson. Dawson has been managing the force's fleet of more than 800 vehicles, ranging from patrol cars and motorcycles to specialist surveillance vehicles, for nine years. He was previously transport officer at Berkshire County Council.

He is due to retire from his post on Saturday (February 22) and the force, which covers Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, is advertising for a fleet manager to be based at force headquarters in Kidlington.
