AT&T Automotive Services is to supply Peugeot 306, 405 and 406s to photocopier and fax machine supplier Danka UK. The firm's UK's fleet has grown from 130 to more than 1,200 vehicles over the last four years as a result of acquisitions of other companies.

Danka's fleet business is now shared between AT&T Automotive Services and Dial, which Danka has used for a few years. Among the attractions of using AT&T Automotive Services was a deal to supply one free-of-charge vehicle for every 100 on the fleet. The total number being supplied has not been revealed.

When Danka initially entered the UK four years ago its vehicles were purchased outright but the company soon switched to contract hire. AT&T Automotive Services sales director Tim Jones said: 'We are providing Danka with a dedicated contact, so that its fleet queries are handled immediately by someone who gets to know its requirements intimately and who can establish a close working relationship with the client.'
