Aston Martin boss to head Land Rover

FORD has brought in Aston Martin chairman Bob Dover to head up its newly-acquired Land Rover operation. As chairman and chief executive, he will report to Wolfgang Reitzle, vice-president of the Premier Automotive Group, which includes Jaguar, Volvo, Aston Martin Lincoln. Dover has held senior posts at both Land Rover and Jaguar in the past. Formal control of Land Rover passes to Ford on July 1. The other members of the Land Rover team are sales and marketing director Matthew Taylor, product development director Steve Ross, purchasing director Steve Jones, finance director David Smith and manufacturing director Martin Burela.
