BT, one of the UK's largest fleets, has renewed its breakdown and recovery contract with RAC Motoring Services for a further three years.

The RAC will look after all BT cars and specialist LCVs up to 3.5-tonnes, and give 'Gold Cover' to vehicles, meaning items such as windscreen wipers, bulbs and mirrors are replaced by the side of the road.

Dave Rawlings, BT fleet product and services supply manager, said: 'Our decision to renew the contract with RAC was based primarily on cost, as well as the service offering.'

RAC director of fleet services Simon Cashmore added: 'We have had a strong business relationship with BT over five years now and we have a strong partnership approach to helping them run their vehicles more efficiently.'
