NEWLY-launched tyre replacement firm Tyreserve is helping Peugeot franchised dealers boost their fleet tyre replacement business.

Tyreserve will offer its web-based platform to Peugeot's 365 dealerships and more than 100 Express Fit centres to provide facilities requested by fleets, such as central billing, brand preferences and in-depth tyre management reports. Launched in April, Tyreserve is a national fleet tyre company based on a network of 650 independent tyre centres and 200 mobile tyre fitters, which uses electronic booking systems to keep administration costs down.

Peugeot parts programmes manager Farrell Dolan said: 'Fleets like to have national tyre buying arrangements in place, but this is something that we have not been able to provide. Through Tyreserve, our dealerships will be able to meet just about any tyre national accounts requirements that a fleet customer may have. It gives us a strong platform to be able to re-enter the tyre replacement

market.'

Peugeot decided to offer the service after it ran trials of the system at three of its dealerships.

The service is available to in-house fleets and contract hire vehicle drivers, particularly those from Peugeot Contract Hire, although there is no formal contract in this area of the business.

Dolan added: 'This is a facility that we expect fleets with a large Peugeot presence to take advantage of over the next few months.'
