THE Association of Car Fleet Operators has welcomed the Government's proposals to ban the use of hand-held mobile phones in cars, but warned against rushing through legislation.

Speaking at a regional ACFO meeting in Cambridge, chairman Tony Leigh said the organisation had submitted its response to the Government supporting a ban, a move which the Government is currently considering.
