LDV's Danish expansion

European van specialist LDV has appointed its first importer for Denmark – LDV Denmark.

The site's first task will be to build a dealer network and it plans to have 20 main dealers and 10 retail dealers in place by the end of this year.

Per Goller, LDV Denmark's managing director, said that Danish interest in LDV was extremely high.

He said: 'The level of quality that LDV has achieved with its products in the past few years was a major reason for our interest in becoming involved in LDV.

'Couple with this was the companies introduction of stage 3 engines and its investment in facilities, not least a new paint plant. All these factors bring LDV right to the top of the industry.'
