Queen trades up

THE Queen has taken delivery of her new state Bentley limousine which was put into service earlier this week as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The car is the first Bentley to join the royal fleet and offers significantly more performance than her current Rolls-Royce Phantoms. The car's turbocharged 6.7-litre V8 develops 400bhp and 616 lb-ft of torque, and it rides on 19-inch wheels with 11-inch wide tyres. The car has a 100-litre petrol tank plus a 50-litre LPG tank.
