ENGINEERING firm DH Morris has switched its entire van fleet to Mercedes-Benz in a £1 million deal.

The Scottish company has ordered 32 Vitos and 33 Sprinters from Glasgow dealer Vardy (Continental). All vans have already been delivered.

The vans will cover about 100,000 miles and are subject to three-year Mercedes-Benz maintenance and repair contracts. With offices in Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Stockton-on-Tees, the vans will be serviced at the nearest Mercedes dealership.

Eddie McMurray, managing director of DH Morris Group, said: 'This deal represents a major investment for our company, as it amounts to a total replacement of the van fleet.

'The Mercedes-Benz team has responded impeccably throughout the tendering process – staff have committed themselves to us 100% and are definitely the right guys for the job.'
