THE British Standards Institution has added Toyota as a supplier to its 450-strong fleet, joining Ford and Citroen.

'We review the fleet at regular intervals, and with each vehicle we aim to offer staff a car that can do the job efficiently and which is also decent enough for private use,' said BSI group purchasing manager Mark Slater.

Toyota Fleet general manager Jon Pollock said: 'By definition the BSI's standards are very exacting, but we believe our range stands up to the closest scrutiny.'
