The latest appointments in the fleet industry.

  • PHIL Murray has been appointed new business development director at Lex Vehicle Leasing. His team will be responsible for delivering new corporate business while working on complex bids across the RAC group. Murray has more than 25 years' experience in the fleet and leasing industry, mostly within the Lex Group, and has held positions in sales, sales management, training, consultancy and general management. For the past seven years he has been national director for Lex Defence.

  • COLIN Blake has joined ATC Driver Training as business development manager. He joins from Inland Revenue Transport & Travel, where he was fleet manager. Blake has many years' fleet industry experience, 14 of which were gained at the Inland Revenue, where he managed the company car scheme. He also set up and ran car schemes for several other Government departments.

  • CITROEN Contract Motoring has appointed Nigel Walker as national sales manager responsible for a team of six area sales managers and four sales support staff.

    Walker joins from Banque PSA where he worked for its Peugeot Contract Hire division, latterly as corporate accounts manager and before that as regional business development manager. He has also worked at Peugeot Finance, Lombard North Central and motor dealerships.

    In his new role Walker will develop new business with both large and small fleets.

  • DAVE Fullerton has been appointed fleet accounts manager at contract hire and software provider cfc solutions.

    Fullerton has several years' experience in the fleet industry, including roles in retail and fleet car sales. He has also worked as a sales consultant in the automotive refinishing sector.

    In his new role, Fullerton will help maintain relationships with cfc solutions' fleet customers.

  • PRACTICAL Car & Van Rental has appointed Elaine Fletcher as regional operations manager for its northern region. In her new role, Fletcher will support and oversee 29 franchised outlets from the Midlands to the Scottish border.
