A DORSET housing association has ordered a new fleet of electric hybrids in a bid to offer a greener fleet choice for its drivers.

Twynham Housing Association has ordered 28 Honda Civic IMAs and has already taken delivery of four. The group said it opted for the Civic IMAs for their affordability, low running costs, cheap benefit-in- kind (BIK) tax and long warranty.

Rob Green, fleet administrator for Twynham Housing Association, said: ‘We wanted our drivers to use the most efficient and environmentally responsible level of transport, yet retain a good standard of comfort.’
