HAVE you been tasked with finding a Porsche for the chairman while he waits for his new 911 to be delivered?

Or perhaps the CEO is jetting in from the US for meetings and would like to spend the week driving around England in a Bentley Continental GT?

A new firm providing luxury sports cars is targeting fleet managers who have to deal with such vexing problems.

Dream Car Hire is the brainchild of 30-year-old multi-millionaire Corin Graeff, and has four cars on its fleet: a Bentley Continental GT, Porsche 911, Aston Martin DB9 and Ferrari 360 Modena.

The firm, launched in February this year, is looking to attract corporate business according to spokesman David Southgate.

And he reckons that Dream Car Hire is different from other prestige rental firms in that it only offers top end sports cars which it owns itself, rather than leasing them. They are then delivered to the customer in bespoke covered trailers, with a full handover to the client.

The cars can also be hired as a sales incentive for staff, with a website for that side of the business going live this month. Dream Car Hire will also put together packages including the car and hotel breaks.

In fact, the firm is open to suggestions from fleets and will do its best to accommodate any requests.

It’s not a cheap option, though. Prices are around the £750 per day mark for weekends, with the penalties for excess mileage steep, but Southgate said the firm will discuss discounts for longer rentals and multiple deals.

It is as far removed from a bog standard Corsa or Fiesta as you can get, but for a special occasion for the chief executive or as an incentive for high performing staff, a Ferrari on the drive, gleaming and growling, really is daily rental at its most luxurious and glamorous.
