WITH styling cues borrowed from the 9X concept, the new Saab 9-5 should make a striking sight when it hits UK roads in 2008.

Available as a saloon or estate, the new model (shown here as an artist’s impression) will be based on the next-generation General Motors platform.

Expect the 9-5 to be available with a four-wheel drive option and also a new V6 turbodiesel engine.
