THE full speaker line-up has been confirmed for the 7th annual Fleet News Europe Conference on February 8, 2007.

The Fleet News Europe Conference is where the European fleet industry meets to shape the future, with high profile speakers from international fleet suppliers and customers.

This year's conference is focused on winning new fleet customers in an expanding Europe and among some of the headline speakers taking part in the prestigious event are:

  • Ivan Hodac, secretary general, European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA)
  • Jim Frank, chief executive officer of Wheels, one of the largest leasing firms in the USA.
  • Matthew Dyer, managing director, LeasePlan International
  • Peter Soliman, chief executive officer of Fleet Logistics International, one of Europe's leading fleet management firms
  • Simon Boggis, director of procurement, CEVA Logistics, one of the most respected fleet experts in the industry who now controls a multi-million pound fleet spend
  • Bruce MacLaren, global auto program manager for Microsoft, who operates in excess of 6,000 vehicles
  • Professor Peter Cooke, KPMG professor of Automotive Industries Management, Nottingham Business School, an internationally-renowned expert on the fleet market
  • Jugo Stojanov, fleet analyst, Datamonitor, one of the leading experts on fleet market research for this globally recognised company

    In addition, there will also be three breakout sessions. These will cover remarketing, future legislation/taxation and risk management.

    Experts taking part in these breakout sessions will include senior representatives from remarketing giant BCA, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the European Transport Safety Council.
