Fleet News is proud to announce our first initial audit for our Fleet Van supplement. This once again gives independent proof of our circulation quality and continued investment within our business-to-business markets.

Fleet Van has been published within Fleet News for four years and we have always maintained that its distribution has mainly been to relevant individuals that manage LCV fleets*. By publishing our first audit we can now provide independent proof of this.

Fleet Van’s first audit shows that we have a verified circulation of 14,368 with 7457 personal requests (over 51%). Over 93% of these requests are less than 12 months old (source: ABC average net circulation for the 1 issue distributed between 1st October 2005 and 31st December 2005).

Trevor Gelken, Fleet Van editor, said: ‘Fleet Van has established itself as the most vibrant LCV magazine in the UK and proves that entertainment and education can go hand in hand. Fleet Van provides van fleet operators with a vast amount of essential information – news, disposals, running costs, road tests and much more. It is hardly surprising that so many people are requesting it.’

Simon Howard, B2B publishing director, said: ‘This new audit shows that we continue to invest heavily in delivering the highest quality circulation for our clients. The Fleet market has a high turnover of staff, so we re-register our reader base constantly to keep up-to-date. This ensures our client’s messages are well targeted to current decision-makers in the right job roles with purchasing and/or specification responsibility.

And Mike Owens, brand communication manager for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, said: ‘The fleet market is very important to the development of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand. 'Fleet Van' does a good job in addressing this market and carries with it the benefit of being part of the influential 'Fleet News' family.’
