NATIONAL news agency The Press Association has overhauled the fleet management of its 160 company cars.
The company, which runs a mainly Ford fleet, has awarded the contract to Inspire Fleet Solutions.
Inspire bosses have confirmed they will retain Ford as solus supplier, using Focus and Fiesta models, but will introduce other measures including competitive tendering of leasing suppliers and a driver helpline.
The company’s FleetProtectPlus product also offers a health and safety policy template, legislation updates, online risk assessments and licence checking.
Drivers will also have access to software that allows them to source new vehicles, book services and report accidents.
