52-year-old fine

PENSIONER John Gedge has paid for a speeding ticket he picked up in America – 52 years ago.

The 84-year-old from East Sussex was reportedly on holiday in the US, where he was fined $15 for doing 55mph in a 35mph zone. He forgot about paying until he found the ticket last week. He sent £5 in an apology letter.
