Caddy
The compact Volkswagen Caddy has a load volume of 3.2m3 and can carry a payload up to 724kg (including driver). The Caddy’s side-loading door has an opening width of 700mm with a second side door available as an option. An excellent package of safety features includes ABS, traction control (TCS) and engine braking control (EBC), all fitted as standard, offering superb road safety.
There is a choice of two powerful and economical diesel engines delivering outputs of 69PS and 104PS. Both engines employ Volkswagen’s Pumpe Düse (PD) fuel injection system, which conforms to EU4 emissions standards while offering low running costs. In addition, the Caddy is now available with the Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG).
Transporter
The award-winning Volkswagen Transporter is available in a wide range of versions all featuring galvanised bodies with a 12-year body protection warranty and excellent levels of equipment.
The four powerful diesel engines with outputs ranging from 84PS to 174PS also feature Volkswagen’s impressive Pumpe Düse (PD) unit injector technology. Furthermore, the independent suspension on all four wheels and slick gear change combine to create car-like handling.
Stylish in design and with proven performance, the Transporter continues to be the van of choice for fleet operators from a wide range of industries.
Crafter
The August arrival of the Volkswagen Crafter is the final stage of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ regeneration of its van range. Replacing the LT, the Volkswagen Crafter is designed and built to meet the ever increasing demands of modern industry and has a maximum load capacity of 17m3. There is a choice of four potent five-cylinder engines delivering 88 PS, 109 PS, 136 PS and 163 PS, each offering the twin benefits of fuel efficiency and low fuel emissions. A 6-speed manual gearbox is fitted as standard, although an automated manual transmission is optional.
Visually more striking than its predecessor with strong lines, vertical clear glass headlights and robust side protection strips, the Crafter’s distinctive appearance communicates strength, solidity and durability.
Fixed Cost Maintenance
The reliability of Volkswagen vans is legendary, but regular servicing and maintenance is essential to keep a fleet operating at maximum efficiency. Fixed Cost Maintenance has been designed specifically for the business user and can assist fleet managers in keeping their vans on the road with a choice of three cover options: Service, Maintenance and Tyres; Service and Maintenance; and Service only.
Furthermore, Volkswagen Emergency Assistance is available for the duration of the cover, for even greater peace of mind. Other benefits include a budgeted payment plan and the knowledge only genuine Volkswagen parts will be used.
Finance
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles also offer a selection of finance products to fund fleet purchases.
