NISSAN’S new X-trail has been caught undergoing final testing in the UK.

This development mule was spotted on country lanes near Nissan’s Cranfield engineering centre in Bedfordshire.

The new model, which goes on sale in the summer, is due to be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March. It uses the same platform as its sister car, the Qashqai, and will share its engine line up.
