THIS is the new Peugeot 308 – a replacement for the 307.

This prototype was caught cold-weather testing in Sweden, but you can see that the 308 retains the 307’s MPV style with a high roof and large glass area.

The 308 (pictured) goes on sale next year as a hatchback and SW estate, with a folding roof CC convertible in 2009. Expect the full range of engines, plus the EGS semi-automatic gearbox which debuted on the Citroën C4 Picasso.
